Designed with straight, relatively high sides and a helper handle for added support, this large five-quart covered sauté pan is ideal for braising meats, adding potatoes and other ingredients, and sautéing onions without splatter. Clad in gleaming stainless steel, the pan is constructed with an inner core of aluminum across the bottom and up the sides for even, efficient cooking at low temperatures. The long handle, riveted for strength and curved for comfort and control, stays cool thanks to its hollow design and V-connection, and features a generous hole for hanging.
